Our latest project the "Gunnison Legacy Wall Mural" is a mural design that is organic, fun, whimsical, and connects the rural Gunnison Valley Community in Utah. The center section of the mural is composed of 80 12"x12" hand-glazed porcelain tiles. The size is 4' x 20' as a part of a larger curved wall that is 6' tall by 60' long. On each side of the mural there are a total of 32 hand-glazed tiles in sepia tones representing historical photos that are important to this small town setting. This project has been a wonderful experience in meeting with and getting to know this rural community.

Materials Mural: Hand-glazed and fired porcelain tiles
Mural Dimensions: 6'x60' (112 12"x12" glazed tiles)

Client: City of Gunnison, Utah
Design: Michael Moonbird, Victoria Lyons
Tile Glazing: Victoria Lyons, April Norby, and Shannon Dillon

• Special thanks to John Riddle and Sons for the installation.
